2009 Belleville NHL Celebrity Baseball Game

Thanks to everyone for making this years challenge ball game between the NHL Alumni and Belleville Professional Fire Fighters in support of our toy drive a great success. The monies raised will assist the fire fighters in making this coming Christmas a little brighter for the less fortunate children in our community.

This years game was a little closer than in the past but in the end the fire fighters allowed the retired athletes one more day of glory.

Special thanks to: The people of our community for their continued support of the toy drive Jack Miller, Master of Ceremony/public address announcer/colour commentator Carl Boomhower and Ted Hurst, the umpires Judy and Rob Haines, refreshments and pictures NHL Alumni Jen French, The Dugout for hosting the after game festivities, thanks Jen as always!

And a special thanks to retired Brother Paul Willerton for doing all the organizing and handling the headaches great work Paul.
